ROCHESTER AREA PICKLEBALL ASSOCIATION FAQs
Free beginner lessons are offered by RAPA generally beginning in the Spring through the Summer. Check the schedule for times and places.
An annual membership costs $25.00. The membership form is available by simply selecting the Join Us icon in the upper right-hand corner of this page.
Some members may have paddles that you can borrow. On beginner lesson nights, RAPA will have a supply of paddles to use. Paddles and balls are available for loan from our Sponsor, Old Abe’s Coffee, just down the street from the Cooke Park courts. Times are limited, so check Abe’s schedule for times.
RAPA members have priority for play during scheduled times. During non-scheduled times, anyone can play. All players are asked to follow suggested player rotation and etiquette guidelines.
Pickleball is a game for all ages and physical abilities. We have players from teens to 90+ !

RAPA, in association with Rochester Parks and Rec, has six courts available at Cooke Park (722 7th St NW, Rochester, MN). In addition, we have five outdoor courts at the Eagles Club, (917 15th Ave, SE, Rochester, MN). Winter indoor play is available at the Rochester Recreation Center, 125 Live, Rochester Athletic Club, and Rochester Tennis Connection.
Yes, visitors to Rochester are welcome to stop by the courts and play. The schedule is available on www.rochesterpickleball.com
Our members range from newbies (1.0) to advanced players (5.0).
