I think I've been playing two winters maybe three. And I love the sport. I love the competition! My goal is to do better each time I play even though it doesn't work out that way.. And, I love the social connections and making new friends!
Showed up at Cooke Park the summer of 2015 and was hooked on Pickleball from the start. Bought PB paddles and balls the next day. Non-work days, I will figure out how to fit in an early game or work on drills. Enjoy helping others learn how to play, and watching them get hooked.
My Dad introduced me to Pickleball in 1990, unfortunately I was 16 and "too cool" to play what I thought was a dumb game with wooden (homemade) paddles. When I turned 40 I became wiser, I tried it again. Now I'm hooked and play almost daily. Moral of this story-always listen to your parents.
I've been playing pickleball since 2015. I was hooked from the first time I played. I think it is a fun and challenging game, and a great workout!
